Beautiful weather – beautiful bikes – thanks to Liteville and Craftworks for coming up to Melrose!
– Comment from Bruce one of the test riders – Melrose: Where the riding’s so good you’ll be in bed by 8pm :-)

PUT this one in your diaries!

FREE Demo day in beautiful MELROSE – SAT 17/SUN 18 SEPTEMBER

You would have read in the recent AMB the write up on the Liteville – it gave it a 9.1 /10. Want a chance to ride one? What about the FRX Craftworks – thinking about buying one but want to give it a spin on some real singletrack before you buy? Well you can – come up to Melrose and you have the opportunity to be like a kid in a candystore!  IBIS, KNOLLY, SPOT, TURNER – the big names are all here waiting for you to ride!

First in best dressed so bookings are essential / Bring licence so we know who you are

We shall set up the suspension and adjust to position to closest suit your ride and preference. There will be a marked shortened track so everyone has the best chance of riding the most bikes on the day.

Register your interest by sending us an email: – we will send you a booking form with bikes available to demo  and we will need to know your bike preferences and size.

It will be a fun weekend with plenty to do besides riding as the “HOT RODS” are in town – all the more reason to bring your family up, sit around the camp fire and forget about the hustle and bustle of city life.

Yet another happy Squirt user!

25th Aug

Squirt sponsored Rohin Adams on his recent bike challenge – “The Mongolia Bike Challenge” it  had the harshest conditions that Rohin, elite rider from Melbourne has ever ridden through.

Over the 9 days and 1200kms the track changed from sandy desert tracks through the Gobi desert, mud flats across the wet plains, grassy tracks through the remote valleys and wet, rocky roads with up to 50 rivers crossings in some days.  In fact over the 9 days it is estimated that the course had in excess of 200 river crossing.

Rohin Adams chose squirt lubricant to conquer this event and was never let down.  The dry lubricant formula that Squirt offers didn’t hold any sand through the deserts and didn’t get washed off in the river crossings.  Of course over a 145kms stage the chain was sure to get some rough treatment but the beauty of the Squirt formula is easy cleaning and re-application at the end of each stage making the bike ready for the next day of extreme racing.  At the event Squirt was a popular choice and riders who had other lubricants soon came asking if they could use some of Rohins.  Squirt was indeed keeping the Mongolia Bike Challenge lubricated.

This picture is to show you what the typical terrain and conditions were like, with Squirt proven to be the perfect lubricant! – thanks Katy Caratozzolo for the image.
