The Over The Edge Experience - Open For the Business of Riding. What does that mean? Well, we are pretty much around and riding most mornings at 7.00am for a quick burst in the hills so call us on 8666 2222 or call Rich on 0417 341 462 or Al on 0428 773 104 if you need a rental or bike supplies, we would love for you to come and ride with us on some really sketchy singletrack. And we have some Women Specific Riding Clinics (free) happening so contact us girls and put your name down if you want to learn some MTB skills so you can head into some of the beautiful hills in the Flinders Ranges,.. and the world.. there are optional drinks afterwards to get an overall caloric and mental state balance. "G'day OTE,
Just been into my local bike shop, Oxygen Cycles where I bought some Squirt Lube, had to tell them how good it is. They suggested that I let you as the distributors know. I have just recently ridden to Darwin, via the Oodnadatta track, then straight up through the Finke,. So it was on dirt roads for the better part of Adelaide to Alice. At the time I got held up with rain for 2 days just north of Marree, and 3 days in Oodnadatta, So you would understand that the roads were pretty muddy, with mud well and truly over the chain. Then it turns into pretty sandy, with sand every where. The upshot this is that I am amazed at the job Squirt Lube does, just nothing sticks to it. In 2 months of riding I never wiped the chain with a rag, or tried/needed to clean it. I can run my finger along it with just the slightest sign of dirt showing. This was after using the lube every day, the thing is I took a new chain with me but even now I don't think I will change it yet for awhile. Nor have I needed to clean it yet, in spite of cleaning the bike.
I've ridden a bike for over 50 yrs. and have never seen anything like it. The closest thing would be candle wax that we used to rub on a one inch pitch block chain (now that 's going back)

Melrose Fat Tyre Festival - THE SUBLIME NINE
June Long Weekend 10-13th, 2011

THE MOVEMBER CHARITY RIDE: PT AUGUSTA TO MELROSE (65km)
SUNDAY 27th Nov 2011 - 7am start to beat the heat. Departs from Avanti Plus (52 Victoria Parade), Pt Augusta. Tandems are popular and the clunker and freak bike very welcome - and plenty will be on mountain bikes so don't be afraid, it will be a long line.. Wear crazy stuff too, kilts and lap-laps have proven themselves. Prizes too - King of the Mountain (Horrocks Pass), Best Mo, Best Outfit, etc..
Halfway option at Wilmington leaving around 9.30am. There will be a vehicle front and back if people run out of puff and to keep traffic aware of the group.
Finish at OTE for a BBQ starting around 11am - after party at OTE later on the couch and skinny dipping in the creek and dam to wind up the day..
